English is the primary language spoken in every Province accept Quebec and New Brunswick. The province of Alberta is experiencing the highest growth in the country. It has a large oil based economy and also a strong high tech and computer software economy. Alberta enjoys the lowest provincial taxes in Canada with the no provincial sales tax. Canada has six time zones.

The country is modern and diverse where 13% of the population is based upon an immigrant population. The region is diverse in landscape expanding from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean to up North to the Arctic Ocean. The geography can be as varied as agricultural plains, mountains, rainforests to arctic tundra. Canada is a nation of vast natural resources such as coal, oil, natural gas, diamonds, gold, uranium, however, natural resources importance to the Canadian economy has be changing as high-technology is playing a greater role in the economy.
